Your work deserves more than presence.
It deserves to be part of the cultural discourse.

To be written about, reflected upon, and remembered. I ensure your voice resonates in the spaces and publications that shape discourse.

I am Rafael, a communications consultant and public relations manager working across culture and fashion for more than a decade. Between Berlin and Milan, I bridge international media networks with a deep understanding of creative processes.

For each collaboration, I translate complexity into narratives that editors, critics, and audiences want to engage with. When required, I partner with colleagues and teams who share the same ethos of precision and cultural sensitivity.

About

Based between Berlin and Milan, I work internationally with artists, cultural organisations, festivals, fashion houses, and institutions, helping them gain meaningful visibility and recognition.

After graduating with a degree in Psychosocial Sciences of Communication in Milan, I began my career in fashion and lifestyle PR. Over time, my focus expanded from brands themselves to the cultural dialogues they shape, which led me to Berlin to further immerse in art, culture, and music.

I have supported leading institutions and cultural organisations such as Berlin Atonal, Fotografiska, and Schinkel Pavillon, while in fashion I have worked with brands including Acne Studios, Browns Fashion, Magliano, Thom Browne, and Wood Wood. My network covers major media outlets worldwide, from independent publications like 032c, Another, Dazed, and i-D to institutional titles such as Artforum, Flash Art, Frieze, , Monopol, Mousse, Vogue, The Guardian, The New York Times, and many others.

My approach

It all begins with a story. Every story deserves to be told, but not in the same way. My role is to ensure that the message is communicated in the most effective form—through careful editing, a precise selection of images, and a text that highlights the essentials. Just as important is defining what to communicate, how to communicate it, and when—because timing is crucial. Despite the pace of the world we live in, the media does not necessarily react in the same instant way, and understanding this dynamic is key.

Equally essential is the choice of the right channels for the message, its content, and the goals we want to achieve. Creating awareness and building an image, for instance, requires a different approach than selling tickets for a concert. This is why it is fundamental to carefully define the target audience and decide which aspects of a project to emphasise in order to reach them most effectively.

What makes a difference

Creating cultural impact is essential. In today’s communication overload, no one pays attention to something superficial. What makes the difference is a story that is coherent, convincing, and built with intention, not artificially assembled, but carefully shaped by bringing the right elements together in the most effective way.

Through my experience in both PR agencies and as a freelancer, I have observed a recurring challenge: many clients lack consistency in their communication. A unified tone of voice, a cohesive style, and a clear strategy are not details; they are the foundation of a strong and effective brand image.

This is why I offer an integrated approach that connects all these aspects. My expertise spans PR and communication consultancy, social media marketing, talent management, and project management. Together, these areas form a powerful combination designed to create clarity, coherence, and lasting impact.
